Au Pair in America

Step 1: Create Your Application
Click Here to begin your easy online application. Fill in the questionnaire and tell us a little bit about yourself. The online application consists of several different sections such as 'About Me', 'Hobbies/Interests', 'Driving Experience' etc. and won't take long to fill out.

Step 2: Attend an Interview
After creating your online application and answering some questions, you will be invited to attend an interview with one of our friendly staff in your nearest city. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know you better, and for you to ask all of your questions about becoming an Au Pair in America.

Step 3: Background Checks
You'll now need to complete a criminal history check, basic medical form and upload some references for us. Background checks are important to our host families to ensure they are having a safe and reliable Au Pair joining their family. Our host families also complete similar background checks before being allowed to join the program.

Step 4: Match with a Host Family
This is the exciting part! Once your application is completed you will be able to chat with potential host families and decide which family best suits you. We make it easy by only allowing families whose needs and interests match your own preferences. When the perfect host family comes along we call it a 'match' and you both mutually decide on a start date for you to arrive in the USA.

Step 5: Visa and Flights
Now that you've matched with your host family, you'll receive a pack in the mail to get you started on obtaining your US visa which allows you to participate as an au pair legally in the USA. We sponsor your visa and provide full instructions and assistance. Once you've obtained your visa you will be sent information on flight options to get you to the USA.

Step 6: Bon Voyage!
Pack your bags, say your goodbyes and head to the airport - it's time to fly to New York to begin your 3-day orientation training.
