Outbound Interviewers

Looking for a rewarding and flexible opportunity?

Currently over 40 Camp America and Au Pair in America Interviewers interview for us across Australia - but we need more!

We are actively seeking to recruit new interviewers who have had a positive cultural exchange experience (or proven relevant experience in recruitment) to help us send more enthusiastic young people to the States!

You will become part of the local representation of our US programs, so great interpersonal skills are a must.  We are seeking candidates with both strong written and spoken communication skills in English, who are able to manage their time/workload appropriately.

Our interviewers use a bespoke Online Applications system, we therefore require candidates to have regular internet access. Candidates must also be personable, approachable, be prepared to coach and motivate the applicants, and essentially nurture them through the application process. Based on your own experiences, you will be asked to share your stories and encourage potential applicants to recognise the skills they have to help them make the most of their application, whilst still maintaining the standards set by the company.

The key-element of the role will involve pre-screening potential applicants during a 45-60 minute face to face interview, where you’ll follow a specific framework outlined in the extensive training you’ll receive from Camp America. Our training includes interview techniques, safeguarding procedures and safer recruiting techniques.

In return you'll have the chance to keep involved with Camp America and the skills that you learn and develop as an interviewer are transferable to a wide variety of different careers and will boost your CV! Many of our Interviewer alumni gave us feedback that the skills and experiences gained through interviewing for Camp America have been invaluable within their professional lives. Interviewers are paid a commission based on the number of interviews conducted throughout the recruitment season and there is great potential to earn a good additional income.

As interviewing is a part-time responsibility most Interviewers fit it into their own  existing work or educational commitments.

To learn more about our interviewing opportunities in your area, please email your CV to info@campamerica.com.au
