Arrange for two Personal references using this link.
A National Police Check must be completed by all adults aged 18 or older who will live in your home during the placement. Please click on this link to complete the online form.
The current cost of the check is $42.00. Please note that your Au Pair's placement will be confirmed only when we have received all Police checks and references.
When you're ready to interview you will receive access to THE HUB - AIFS’ online database. You can view Au Pairs on THE HUB and request interviews.
Some families prefer to use our free bespoke matching service. We can send you profiles matching your family’s requirements.
For some families, the interview and matching steps may take a few weeks, for others a few months. The time to select an Au Pair will depend on the time of year, your requirements and ensuring that the Au Pair is the perfect fit for your family.
Upon selecting your Au Pair, a start date will be finalised between you and your Au Pair and you will receive the final placement and arrival information.
As all Au Pairs attend an orientation at AIFS in Sydney, families are required to provide 1-way transport from Sydney to their home for their Au Pair.
