Au Pair in Australia Coordinator (Full time) 

AIFS (American Institute for Foreign Study), one of the world's leading providers of cultural exchange opportunities, is seeking a Coordinator for our inbound Au pair program.


AIFS Au Pair is a cultural exchange program matching European, American, Japanese and British Au pairs with Australian families. Au pairs live with the family and care for the children for 6 months up to 12 months.


Located in AIFS’ Sydney centre (near Hyde Park) the coordinator will complete administrative duties and work with a small team to support our Au pairs and host families.

We are seeking a customer service star who is happy to jump from comforting a homesick Au Pair, delivering an orientation to new arrivals to helping new families sign up. The role is a back office position however you will have plenty of opportunity to see and speak with our families and Au pairs by phone, email and in person.


The successful candidate will need:

  • fluent spoken and written English
  • excellent communication and time management skills
  • extensive experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and preferably experience using Sales Force or other CRM
  • German or French language skills will be highly valued
